In Idaho, residential care and assisted living facilities provide housing and personal care to vulnerable adults and seniors who rely on staff in an emergency. To keep residents safe, at least one direct-care staff member trained in first aid and CPR must be on site at all times.

Residential care and assisted living facility, governed by IDAPA 16.03.22, with nurse-aide CPR requirements under the Board of Nursing (IDAPA 24.34.01).
急救要求
A residential care/assisted living facility must have at all times at least one direct-care staff member certified in first aid and CPR, and certified nurse assistants must hold a current Health Care Provider CPR card. Care staff must be able to intervene until emergency services arrive.
A recognized, up-to-date first-aid and CPR certificate is the way to meet this obligation; it is in addition to the staff's occupational training and must be renewed periodically.
