First Aid & CPR Idaho
Becoming a foster (resource) parent in Idaho means providing a safe home to a child in the care of the Department of Health and Welfare. First-aid and CPR training is used to meet the licensing requirements and is available to resource-parent applicants and approved families.
急救要求
In Idaho, first-aid and CPR classes from a recognized organization are used to meet the foster-care licensing requirement and are offered to resource-parent applicants, approved resource families and licensed county foster/adoptive parents. Caregivers are generally expected to keep certification current, with refreshers available on a recurring basis.
The requirement is administered by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, Child and Family Services. The certificate is one requirement in addition to the pre-service training, the home study and the assessment of the family's suitability to foster.
