Course description

The 'CPR/AED – Secondary School (Teacher)' training by FRSQC is specifically designed to train teachers to pass on essential skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of automated external defibrillators (AED) to their students. This comprehensive program includes all the instructional materials needed for teachers to deliver the training effectively. Participants will learn to teach young people how to recognize cardiovascular emergencies, perform CPR, and use an AED on adults, children, and infants. Through practice and assessments, teachers will gain complete mastery of the techniques and be fully prepared to train their students to respond to cardiac emergencies.

Success criteria

  1. Completed readings

    Complete all readings included in the course.

  2. Practical sessions

    Complete all mandatory practical sessions within the required minimum times.

  3. Theoretical assessments

    Pass with an average of 80% or higher on each theoretical assessment.

Certification: Upon successful completion, a PDF certificate is issued, valid for 3 years.
